DarkRP Rules and Procedures

DarkRP Rules
General Rules

  • Rdm is not tolerated
  • NLR is 5 minutes
  • FailRP is not tolerated
  • FearRP is not tolerated
  • You must respect all staff and players when out of character (OOC)
  • Racism won't be tolerated
  • Cheating is strictly prohibited and will result in an instant permanent ban
  • If you are being raided, you may not return until the raid has ended
  • ALL criminal acts and counters etc must be adverted
  • Using Auto-Gambling mechanisms will result in a temporary ban
  • As any gun dealer you may only supply yourself with a pistol to defend your base
  • You cannot have cameras in other's bases
  • You may not advert Terror or any act with similar actions
  • Don't waste staff time
  • Earrape on any radio/tv won't be tolerated
  • You may play inappropriate/adult content on the TV if it is located in your own property
  • Casino and Cinema owners may build inside their public area ( cinema, casino ) but you can not force people to pay
  • TV's and Music players may only be place / purchased inside of your own base / home
  • E2 chat loggers and material changers ( playermodel material ) are warnable
  • Entities such as printers must be placed in an obvious / accessible place ( Not on rooftops etc )


Government Rules

  • All rules must be realistic, we don't want some stupid shit making other's rp experience a mess
  • The mayor may not initiate a lockdown without a valid reason
  • The mayor cannot initiate a purge
  • Police may not go rogue. You chose to be a police to police the streets.
  • All government cannot build anywhere apart from the mayor ( only inside the PD )
  • The Mayor may have a weapon for self-defense only


Criminal Acts Rules

  • All criminal cooldowns are 10 minutes
  • You must wait 20 minutes to target the same person in any criminal act (raid, mug, carjack etc)
  • The maximum you can request for a mug is 15k
  • The maximum you can request for a carjacked car is 50k
  • The maximum time you can kidnap a player for is 20 minutes (throughout this time you must keep trying to sell the kidnapped player)
  • The maximum you can request for a kidnapped player is 25k
  • You cannot carjack a car if there is someone in the driver's seat
  • You may NOT do any sort of takeover, eg. a base takeover or PD takeover
  • You can't raid the Casino / Cinema unless the manager is proven to have printers / entities worth money ( Not including tv / music players )


Building Rules

  • Keypads must be visible
  • The maximum amount of fading doors to an entrance is 4
  • Your fading doors must stay open for a minimum of 5 seconds
  • You are allowed to make a no-collide entrance
  • One-way props are allowed ( All one-ways must be made from a gate / fence ( bullets pass through it ) but you may not shoot through )
  • One-way prop shooting is not allowed
  • Crouch bases are not allowed
  • All types of advantage bases are not allowed
  • You must place a building sign when building your base (excludes you from roleplay)
  • You may not have any kind of entities while there is a building sign up (Things like radios are allowed)
  • You must have a KOS sign to kill anyone in your base ( Not including when you get raided )
  • You can not have a building sign and a KOS sign up at the same time
  • Shooting windows must stay open for 1 second before you may open fire
  • Shooting windows must be made so that both the raider and the defender can see eachother
  • Printer boxes MUST be set to toggle
  • You cannot build in the streets ( Hobos may build on the side-walk )
  • Both KOS and Building signs must be of size 100 and clearly displayed
  • Blackout box bases are not allowed
  • You can't have fake keycard scanners ( Lots of scanners where only 1 works )
  • Maze bases are not allowed ( Where the raider is forced to work out the way in )
  • Sky bases are not allowed ( This does not include rooftop bases )
  • You may not stack fading doors ( It prevents SWAT access and lockpick access )
  • You can't place ANYTHING in spawn
  • You may only own 1 base unless you build a big base that covers a maximum of 2 buildings

E2 Rules

  • Gambling / Case opening E2's are not allowed
  • If your E2 exceeds 500 ops admins may remove it at their own free will
